It all started in a simple mom’s garage in the house where I grew up her in Orange County. That garage became the very first storage space for screen mesh, frames, tools, and supplies. Those early days were humble. Loading up the truck each morning and heading out to knock on doors to help people in local neighborhoods. Our very first customers came from those door-to-door visits, people who needed help with torn screens, sagging doors, or windows that just didn’t feel secure anymore.
My brother was struck with the idea while working at a local hardware store at the time, helping customers find screening materials. Day after day he saw the same pattern: people struggling to figure out what they needed, then facing the tricky task of removing old screens, measuring accurately (especially when a screen was completely missing), and reinstalling everything properly.
